Inspired by Extraordinary Alien’s first project in collaboration with Agnes, Stolen from Mexico, SnackTime has created a Narrative Tapestry which serves as an invitation to “(re)claim what’s yours.” Through this exercise of conversational prompts we invite our guests to experience the power of vulnerability and community collaboration. 

The narrative tapestry is complemented by SnackTime’s edible food installation, a celebration of local Mexican ingredients and an homage to the science of communal eating. 

The abundant layout of food, science, art and community fuels us to receive and indulge in the nourishment of collective healing while owning what’s yours.

These jackets are more than mere clothing; they are bold provocations challenging us to reclaim our heritage. Infused with defiance and beauty, they pay homage to pre-Hispanic artifacts pillaged from Mexico and sold in auction houses around the world despite protests. Crafted in Mexican denim with impeccable tailoring by Lucio and Veronica, adorned with skillful hand embroidery by women of Temoaya and Tenancingo, and dyed naturally with Pericón, organic Indigo, and Cinchona bark from the soil of the land, each jacket encapsulates a story of resistance and cultural assertion. They demand to be touched, felt, and, most importantly, owned.
